This is the part where I try my best to give you all a sense of who am I. For sure most of you out there reading this might be wondering, who is this guy posting a lot of pictures of couple getting married, people's portraits, events and etc etc.... So the story goes like this.....
Who am I ?
A photographer based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (Malaysia), specializing in portraits & wedding photography. My style of photography for weddings is more a mixture of both portraiture & journalistic. Rather than just snapping picture like Dirty Harry, I try to build up the story of the newly weds in the most interesting way possible.
What I do?
Provides Actual day Wedding, Engagement & Bridal photography services all around Sabah and if possible around Malaysia. I also do Personal Portraiture, Couples & also Families.
Although I'm majoring in weddings, I also do other events photography. My past works involved major events by Shell, Angkatan Hebat, Maybank, KKSOC, Shockwave Entertainment KK & Bandwidth StreetPress to name a few.
What drives me as a photographer?
The chance to witness & sharing the happiness of the people that I photograph, knowing that I'm creating their photographic story that will evoke wonderful memories for lifetime.
Before you get bored, here are few other things about me in brief:-
- Real name is Sidney Guansing. Siginoot is a nickname given by my aunts & grandma when I was a baby.
- A Kadazan guy born & bred in Kota Kinabalu.
- Able to speak 4 languages: English, Malay, Mandarin, Hakka & lil' bit of Kadazan. (I know, it's a disgrace!)
- loves very much rock, house/electro music. Favorite bands: Foo Fighters, Blink 182, Yellowcard....and the list goes on.
- loves to eat.
- Favorite sport: Soccer & Tennis. Supports Chelsea FC and a big fan of Roger Federer.
